Warm German Potato Salad
- Bacon - 2 strips fried & diced
- 1 Tbs flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 4 potatoes - peeled, cooked and sliced
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup chopped onion (to taste)
- Put all ingredients EXCEPT potatoes and onions in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly. The mixture should become thick and clear.
- Pour over potatoes and onions. Serve warm (but it’s also great cold). Makes 4-6 servings.
