Two articles from this past week:

“Timothy Geithner, now the Treasury secretary, quite clearly tried to defraud the government of tens of thousands in payroll taxes while working at the International Monetary Fund.”

…and:

“The president’s pick for health secretary [Tom Daschle] said he deeply regrets tax mistakes and amended returns to report more than $128,000 in back taxes and nearly $12,000 in interest for 2005 to 2007.”

It’s all clear to me now. Democrats are more than willing to increase taxes, because THEY DON’T FUCKING PAY THEIR OWN.
